Not every business will benefit from each type of digital marketing, so it is essential to think about your audience. That being said, one area of digital we think every business should take advantage of is performance reporting. Whether you’re doing SEO, content marketing, SEM or social media, you can’t make data-driven decisions if you’re not analyzing the metrics.
We recommend starting digital marketing by thinking about your audience and your priorities. This will help you decide which digital marketing tactics will be the right fit for you. For example, if you’re selling a service aimed at individuals nearing retirement, Instagram and Snapchat probably don’t make sense for your business, while LinkedIn and Facebook would be a better fit for your audience.
Next, it’s time to think about your priorities as a business. The digital marketing tactics you choose should align with your business goals. If your main goal is to spread the word about your local business, then local SEO is for you! If you’re more interested in understanding why users are leaving your website, you should think about UX testing.
If you have the time and the manpower to take on multiple tactics at once, go for it! But if you can only devote attention to a few tactics, then we recommend you start strong with those and add more to your marketing mix as you can.
Reporting! We love reporting because it’s the best way to see the results of digital marketing efforts. Each platform has its own analytics feature, but we always verify the data with at least one other analytics platform. What do we mean by that?
Well, let’s say you’re reporting out on a Facebook ad which got 60 clicks, according to Facebook Ads Manager. Now, when you cross reference that data with pageviews on Google Analytics, you only see 40. This doesn’t mean one platform is wrong, but it does show they’re tracking different metrics and that each platform has its limitations. We like to see the data from multiple perspectives, so we combine the metrics to get a holistic understanding of the campaign. Another great tool to cross-reference social media metrics is Google Tag Manager. This tool which tracks events on a website will help you verify conversion data. Want to know more about GTM? The time to develop a logo from sale to completion is usually 2-3 weeks. Lead times are also dependent on customer response time and any additional changes to designs.
After the design phase, you will be presented with 3 design options based on the ideas collected. Once final payment is made, you will own the copyright to the final design.
That's no problem at all.
When you are presented with the first set of designs, I will explain why the design decisions have been made. At this point, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback and request modifications if necessary.
You can request as many changes as you like, however up to 4 review rounds are included within the typical scope of the project. In the unlikely event that additional revisions are required beyond this, they will be charged at a cost of £30 per revision round and added to the final invoice.
We'll jump on a call, and we'll work together to establish what's not working, why, and we'll work out a direction so we can proceed with the project.
It's worth noting that the designs presented to you will be based on goals agreed with you before the design phase begins. This will include information about your business, competition and target audience. It will also include any specific requirements or expectations you may have, so this is an unlikely scenario.
I focus my design decisions on goals, which I will explain when presenting the designs. This will mean I have considered your business, target audience and competition. As a logo is a strategic tool it doesn’t need to be liked by you personally, but should instead perform for your business, and this is something I will discuss with you.
I will cooperate with you to throughout the project to ensure the design achieves all goals agreed upon, which will include any specific requests made before starting the designs.
It’s unlikely to happen, however, if after attempts to find an ample solution you still dislike the designs presented to you, you don’t need to make full payment. Before starting the project I take 50% deposit which is non refundable, but if you don’t like the work done for you, you don’t need to pay the final 50%. But I will retain ownership of all designs, ideas and work carried out during the process.
